GRAND BLUEWAVE HOTEL SHAH ALAM GETS ISO CERTIFICATION

Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam  is pleased to announce that it has obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certification from SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd on 3^rd September 2004.  This certificate stands for a well implemented quality system for hotel operations covering room sales, front office, housekeeping, food and beverage and support areas. 

The hotel is the first in Shah Alam to obtain such certification after a 12-month series of audits and training programmes. 

“It’s our staff efforts that enable us to obtain the certification and we consider this a great accomplishment.  We are committed to extend excellent service to all our guests.  The certification is also a testimony of our continuous effort to improve all areas of our operation.  With this certification, it will enhance the hotel brand name and reputation in addition to our 5-star status in Shah Alam”  says general manager, Alan Ching.

“We would also like to commend our 24 internal auditors responsible for implementing and enforcing quality systems at our hotel.  Almost 100 audits were carried out by the 24 internal auditors to ensure that all policy and procedures are followed and embodied in the culture of the hotel”  adds Alan Ching.
